Autstralia bagpacking
As an economy class traveller Australia is one of the places that are considered to be one of the more expensive travels I attend to have in this short period of time in life where you can still walk miles, sleep in cars back sits and eat McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
As an “expirienced” traveller more of a few of my friends had been travelling in Australia & New Zealand I’ve got more some tips I won’t forget.
- Buy a car (a good car, but not too expensive - approximately $2000 - don’t worry about this money you will get it back)
- If you don’t have a friend travelling with you - try to find one in the first week after your landing many places in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane offer travelling services where you can meet more travellers and plan you travel.
- Don’t plan too much ahead because you never know what’s going to halt you back, as places in australia will make you want to spend that extra night.
- If you are stuck in a place and cannot bargain a deal with you back for sleeping another night in the backsit you can find affordable hotests here:
- Make sure you have enough cash to spend on Gaseline.
- Make sure you have enough batteries & memory cards for you camera (it could take way over 4-5 days before you find a place that will have those supplies).
- Have atleast 2 gallon of water available on your car (1 for you 1 for the car) - fill them after every use when possible.
- Sell you car at the end of the trip (expect 2-3 days before finding a price that will match or raise the price you’ve purchased the vehicle from - assuming that it is in the same condition).
If you have more tips please feel free to comment and send your suggestions, I promise to go over each of your replies and add if found fit.
