Vegas - home of gambling

Vegas, the object of any gambling fan.
I’ve been there twice before and now planning my 3rd trip and stay at one of the wonderful vegas hotels and the great vegas strip.

Vegas, is not only an adults only territory any more. Las vegas hotels consist with many other entertainment activities for all ages. The gambling is and always will be the main activity of vegas visitors, but since visiting with the family and keeping your family occupied and happy is not such a difficult task any more.

The big question in my mind and I’m sure in everyone who has a family mind is how to keep money for gambling while still giving your family a great time in their vacation?!

Well, the accomodations are the 1st and most important thing:
You’ll have to find some great las vegas hotel deals right in the middle of the strip, so your family won’t need to pay for transportation.
Keep in mind there are some very nice and cheap motels at the streets crossing the strip, so the hotel doesn’t have to be exactly on the strip, but just a minute or two away.

After that make sure you book some tickets to the worderful shows that are available on some of the strip hotels and also a flight to the grand canyon is also not that expensive and makes a great memory.

Backgammon Masters - Anywhere Anytime

Well, we all love backgammon games and many of us take the small, portable version of this popular game with us when we travel.

Well, nowadays when internet is available on every street in every third world country many of us spend much of our travelling time online and even spend some of it on playing against the computer of friends from around the world.

Well, just for that I am now writing you all to recommend on this great new backgammon room by BackgammonMasters who had recently launched a new backgammon platform which, according to many sources is the begining of their breakthrough to the casino industry.

Already you can see the ad on their homepage introducing a one lobby platform for Backgammon game, the Blackjack game & all kind of Poker variation games, Personally I’m more a man of backgammon as I’ve always been known to carry an authentic version with me to any trip and any family or friends out doors occasion.

If you’re into gambling & into travelling Backgammon Masters new platform can be a great place to hand out, as there’s no download needed and you can just use any browser installed at the internet cafe you’re at.

The blackjack game for example is a game you can play without spending hours infront of the computer, so you can make some quick cash outs, if you have more time on your hands than you can defenitely choose to play at their backgammon or poker games and relax while you’re taking away other people money just by using some of your skills.

USA Roadtrip

well, the perfect vacation in my personal opinion had always been at the USA where life are like a big vacation.

To make the best I suggest taking 3-6 months in order to enjoy all there is in the USA and to fully enjoy your time and travel, save money and live a different life style you should really rent a caravan / motor home.

These motor homes allow you to fully enjoy the comfort of your home and even cook your own food during your travel, so while you’re driving through the amazing jungle like landscape in Vermont to the desert and warm streams of California through the grand canyon and enjoying all the views in the middle, you can still enjoy your home expiriences.

You don’t have to worry much about buying the motor home and all of its furniture and appliances as they are all available online.

You can buy motor homes at http://www.pplmotorhomes.com and other appliances at http://wize.com where you can find the best dishwasher, best televisions and compare prices and even condition.

Travelling with all those appliances that you personally chosen gives a great feeling throughout the trip and makes your stay in the motor home much more enjoyable and aspecially having the best dishwasher as they usually keep your dishes from getting broken in the kitchen sink.

One of the reason I’m recommending the USA for that trip and not europe for example is due to the difference in the costs between them. While the USA currency is at an all time low, prices in europe keep climbing and if you’ll compare prices over at http://wize.com and after reading what others had to say about each product you’ll notice that best rates are from USA based companies and stores.

So go a head, take a 6 months vacation, rent / buy a motor home, get the best dishwasher you can find and send all your photos to use we will publish them and write a special thank you post for you.

Germany in a week

Well…. obviously Germany is too big and has too many historic location for travelling only in a week or even 10 days, but that’s the time we can get off from work this time and with a limited budget we’ve planned every free second.
From cheap air fares to the cheapest hotels and transportation.

Starting point will be at Munich (The city, not the movie), where once was the capital of the Bavarian kingdom.
Munich hotels are usually booked this time due to the festivals, but we were able to book a last minute deal with the excellect site of http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk .
With 2 days to go through the local museums and theater we found our self very busy and got back to the hotel only to sleep for 6 hours.

From there our journey passed through many small towns and villages with our rented car, which we forgot to mention before, a lovely Ford Focus with enough space for 3 large suitcase and for only $500 for the week, to Berlin we’ve reached at night and again, waiting for us was another great hotel, the All in hostel that is very warm and pleasant for a 2 nights stay.

I will not bother you all with details about the holocaust museums (which are not boring, but too long to tell about all the things you see and feel in each and every one of them) and about the great art galleries that are spreaded widely across Germany, I would however tell you, that if you’re planning to go on a journey to Europe - Germany is defenitaley not a place you’d like to miss.

Online Studies - Find a teacher worldwide

Many families have deiced not to live in one place, not to build a home and to build their family in a steady enviourment, but their alternative form of life is not as bad as you might think.

Their kids are growing in a very interesting enviourment with a closeness to their partents that most kids don’t get.
As for friends, these are exactly the cases where parents can actually become best friends with their kids.

What about school you ask? well until today self tutoring was a pretty common solution among those families, but no more.

Today, in the age where every 3rd world country is over populated with internet cafe places and every small motel has internet access free to its guests parents can use the Online Tutoring systems where you can find A-Class teachers for all ages and for all major subjects, get homeword and get assistant at any given time.

Subjects like Biology, Chemistry or even Spanish are subjects that are usually a bit harder to teach on your own, but with TutorVista.com you can surely relax and give your child a few hours on his own with teachers to guide through these important subjects as well as the more common but yet not less important such as Math (including Algebra), English and Bible.

New Zealand - The dream

So many stories, So many pictures, So many times I’ve dreamed about packing my bag and travel the land of new zealand.

New Zealand has much to offer nature lovers. The parrots that will eat your vehicle plastics, the cave with the glowing worms.

The ocean surrounding , green mountains, snow in the winter, there’s hardly anything bad to say about travelling in new zealand except perhaps the prices.

Just like australia, the prices are not cheap there and if you plan to travel you should follow the same basic rules regarding your accomndation and transportaion.

Cheap motels are possible to find, but if you have a bit higher budget you can check these links to see if you find something that fits your needs:

Cave with glowing worms

If you have more recommendations, feel free to leave them in the comments or email them to us so we could publish them.

Regarding transportation - buying a car on arrival and selling it on departure is probably the cheapest way, as fuel prices are similar to those in the USA and it gives you the option to choose your own route of travelling.

Parking lots for car selling / buying can be found near any air/sea port as these means of transportation had become very well known and even formed some small local industry in which you can find garage, electronic and stereo shops to upgrade your audio system is you like and can efford it.

I hope you’ll enjoy your trip, I hope to write from expirience next time.

Job Opportunities in London

Not too long ago I’ve wrote about how expensive a travel through the europe continent could be.

Many travellers who have agreement with the EU regarding to working permits and extended tourists visa can use their rights and take a job here and there and try to cover some or all of their expenses.

In many cases the temporary job turns out as a turning point in your life and you end up relocating yourself to that new country.

If London is in your path I can suggest start looking for Jobs in London here and while you’re at it you can just have a look at some of the other wonderful options this great board offers at Gumtree London Community Board.

Getting a long in a new place is not easy, but craigslist and other wonderful boards such as the Gumtree in london helps people find their way, meet people and buy a whole new / used household for bargain prices.

May you have the best of luck.

SONY BRAVIA KDL-46V2500

You most likely ask yourself what does sony bravia kdl-46v2500 has to do with my blog, right?

Well, just about nothing, but this is my blog and beside my travelling expirences you’ll find here alot of posts regarding my daily experiences and thoughts.

And how does the sony bravia kdl-46v2500 fits in my life? well, just perfectly.

Sitting there in my living room, my new huge flat screen TV has been a great purchase and one hell of a bargain.

While this baby could be found in any local store (Target for example) for a minimum price of $3200 - I got it for only LCDTvs.com - you can compare your prices at the sony bravia kdl-46v2500 page over at Shopping.com, but the product is the same and the warranty is good and valid so in my opinion nothing more to seek for.

I’ve connected the TV to a new device I’ve purchased (details will be given on a new post - stay tune) and using this device I now see the world largest version of Windows XP - some might call it a nightmare, but I enjoy the fast switch between my desktop and tv shows with a high quality amazing resolution.

Germany at January

In less than 3 months I’ll start my journey accross germany and poland visiting family and travelling across the great nation of germany and taking the flight back from Poland after a short trip at austria as well.

As you all know Europe is very expensive to travel for those who come from countries which the currency is lower and the USD was the strongest coin used until the EU started their own united currency.

Due to that fact I have already spent some time making sure that if I don’t have a relative to crash at his/ hers place I’ll at least won’t go bankrupt at any expensive hotel so here are my bookmarks for the trip:

Good prices for Hotels in Berlin I found already and without leaving that same site I found and booked my self a cheap hotel also from their list of Vienna hotels.

I am still searching for a good car rental deal, although I have found already some nice ways to handle my trip simply by using the trains system and other public transportaion.

Although I did not book from this list of Berlin hotels I found there some nice review to the hotels I’ve mentioned earlier and a good link (at the bottom of the page) to a car rental which I’m still waiting to hear from after sending my details.

The list of hotels in vienne published at www.hotelsdeutsche.com cannot be ignored as well, after all what is google translator here for :) - You can never get good information as you can from the local versions of websites.

In between I’ve found some motels which prices were much higher than the hotels mentioned in the list above, so I don’t even bother writing you a link about.

If you have more recommendations please write them soon, as I’m trying to finish my booking as soon as possible.

Sweet cold United Kingdom

You like new york city? well, you’ll love the UK - the original version and the source to parts of the finest architecture and is similiar by weather and rush.

I got to the UK by pure chance as I could choose a time period between flight to flight while travelling to and from the USA.

One of first things you’ll find out is that London hotels are not cheap and trying to find an alternative, that would not get you to share a room with 5 more strangers, is not so easy.

If you already found a place you can stay for the few days from your arrival, you could start managing your trip on your own - renting a car, which is not expensive as you might think - but just keep in mind that you will be driving on the left.

In an early stage of your trip it is already smart to book your Edinburgh hotels and even Glasgow hotels if you’re heading towards that direction, hotels in those areas are highly recommended and are much cheaper than hotels in London. It is not even recommended to order a motel room unless you really are travelling on a low budget - trying to catch as much as you can for as little as you can.

Most UK people are not the worm inviting people you can find in other places in the world although there are exceptions (one place in particular is a small town called Beth which has a remarkable views and landscape and nice welcoming people).

Actually as far as getting direction and getting help from people in a time of need - it is mainly in London where you will find that people just don’t have time for you and would ramble you a few words that you would try to understand until they are way out of sight already. If you look at the positive side - it is a new culture you’re visiting and you should accept and enjoy their behaviors - and with that don’t miss - DON’T MISS - a soccer game - one of more famous expiriences in the UK, in which thousands of people are sharing 90 exciting minutes together and the group feeling is uncomparable.
